Have you ever noticed that it's when you're trying to do something worthwhile with your life that you get tested? Doesn't it seem like the more valuable your activities, the harder it is to do them? It seems to me as though whenever I get my head screwed on straight, and I'm doing what I'm supposed to do, everything conspires against me! I have been tested, tried, and tempted over and over again lately!! It's not just the obvious tests, either. (Although there have been MORE THAN ENOUGH of those.) Sometimes, it's just the little things that sneak in and steal your time, your energy, your focus and take them away from where they should be centered. Have you ever noticed that when you undertake a noble occupation/pastime/calling that you just can't. seem. to. get. it. done? Yeah, that's where I'm at.
(You can tell I'm going to hell in a handbasket when I make obvious grammar errors and don't go back to correct them. "Where am I, and why am I in this handbasket??")
I don't know. Maybe I need to just wash everything out and start all over again. Except my hair. I like it red.
